You are the Goddess Who is seated on a white-lotus, You are decorated with white flowers, You are adorned with a white dress, You are eternal, and You are applied with white-paste.||1||
You hold white-rosary seed string¹ and You are applied with white-sandalwood paste; You hold a white Veena, You are blissful, and You are decorated with white ornaments.||2||
You are reverred by celestial bards and You are offered-prayers by demi-gods and demons; You are prayed by sages and all the seers. You are always praised.||3||
Those who remember You, Sarasvati, Who is the Goddess and Who is the mother of the universe, with these verses during everyday prayers, three times, enjoy Your company.||4||
