Salutations for Śiva, Who is adorned with
splendor. Salutations for Śivā, Who is perfumed with a paste
of sandalwood. Salutations for Śiva, Whose eyes resemble the blade
of a plough. Salutations for Śivā Who has lotus-like
eyes.||2||
Salutations for Śiva, Who holds a trident
in His hands. Salutations for Śivā, Who holds a shining lotus
in Her hands. Salutations for You Śiva, Who has the directions as
His clothes. Salutations for Śivā, Who has a colorful
variegated apparel.||3||
Salutations for Śiva, Who has an ornament
of moon. Salutations for Śivā, Who is honored by glittering
ornaments. Salutations for Śiva, Who has marked ear-hoops of gold.
Salutations for Śivā, Who has resplendent ear-hoops studded
with jewels.||4||
Salutations for Śiva, Who is the ruler of
stars and planets. Salutations for Śivā, Whose shoulder is
adorned by a garland. Salutations for Śiva, Who has a complexion of
golden color. Salutations for Śivā, Who is much more
beautiful than golden objects.||5||
Salutations for Śiva, Who is the destroyer
of Tripurāsura. Salutations for Śivā, Who is the
destroyer of the demon Madhu. Salutations for Śiva, Who is the
slayer of Andhaka. Salutations for Śivā, Who is the slayer of
Kaiṭabha.||6||
Salutations for Śiva, Who is full of
knowledge on an eternal basis. Salutations for Śivā, Who
bestows the cloud-like eternal bliss to everyone. Salutations for
Śiva, Who is adorned by matts of tress-locks. Salutations for
Śivā, Who is adorned by a snake like (curvy) string of
flowers.||7||
Salutations for Śiva, Who is the abode of
the fragrance of camphor. Salutations for Śivā, Who is ornated
by a shining mark of Kuńkuma. Salutations for Śiva, Who is
offered with the fruits of wood-apple and mango. Salutations for
Śivā, Who is offered with the fragrance of jasmine.||8||
Salutations for Śiva, Who adorns the
celestial system of the world. Salutations for Śivā, Who is
adorned by the sparkle of precious stones. Salutations for Śiva,
Who is eulogized by the Vedānta books. Salutations for
Śivā, Who is eulogized in every way by the Lord of the world
(i.e., Śiva).||9||
Salutations for Śiva, Who is extoled
eternally by everyone. Salutations for Śivā, Who has been
offered a slipper from Padmā. Salutations for Śiva, Whose body
has been embraced by Śivā. Salutations for Śivā,
Whose body has been embraced by Śiva.||10||
Salutations for Śiva, Who is the eternal
father. O Girijā! Salutations for You, Who is the eternal mother.
Salutations for Śiva, Who destroys the fear of desires (Kāma
or Anańga). Salutations for Śivā, Who increases the
desire (Kāma or Anańga).||11||
Salutations for Śiva, Who is eating away
poison [from the universe]. Salutations for Śivā, Who is
eating divine nectar. Salutations for Śiva, Who is the supreme
Lord. O Goddess, Who is adorned with sandalwood! Salutations to
You.||12||
