Be victorious, Raam, Who has an enticing appearance, Who is not a captive of qualities, Who is all pervading, Who inspires everyone into their deeds, and Who is always right, Who is the mighty destroyer of the arms of Ravan (ten-headed one), Who possesses formidable arrows, and Who is the jewel of this earth!||1||
I bow to Ram, Who has a dark blue cloud like body, lotus-like face and eyes which are the abode of lotuses, Who is merciful, Who has long hands, and Who destroys the fear of the cycle of birth and death.||2||
I bow to Ram, Who is immensely strong, Who is without beginning, Who is unborn, Who is inexpressible, Who is One, Who is beyond the scope of our sense organs, Who is known as Govind, Who is beyond light, Who absolves all our tussles, Who is the abode of sciences, Who is supporting the earth (or brought back earth during the Varah Incarnation).||3||
I bow to the Ram mantra (chant) which is chanted incessantly by the saints; I consistently bow to Ram, Who is infinite (in all respect), Who is the enticer of heart of people, Who endears the desireless devotees, and Who is the destroyer of desires and other stupidity within our hearts.||4||
Who is incessantly sung as qualityless, Brahma, omnipresent, established, and unborn by the Veda, Who is attained by many saints after meditation, knowledge, renouncement, and Yoga, That Ram is now, Who is the cloud of mercy, abode of resplendence, unreachable, and creator of worldly desires, is in front of my eyes. The bumble-bee for my lotus like heart, is resplending like many Kamadev put together.||5-6||
Who is beyond reach, Who is easy to reach (with devotion), Who is without malice, Who is without a match, Who always perceives everyone equally (no bias), and Who is seen by Yogi after a lot of penance and control of sense-organs and desires, that Ram, Who is the abode of Rama (Lakshmi), Who is the captive of saints (by devotion), Who has all the wealth in the universe, and Who possesses pure glory, should reside inside my heart and destroy all the sins done during the stay in this universe.||7-8||
