O Sri Rama, the Lord of the lineage of Raghu, Who holds the best bow and beautiful arrows in hands, Who slays away the curtain of cloud of ignorance and attachment, Who is like fire for the forest like doubts, Who has done favor to demi-gods! Protect me.||1||
O Sri Rama, the one Who is without qualities, Who manifests as qualitative forms, Who is the temple of qualities, Who is enticing, Who is like the sun for the glorious darkness of doubts, Who is like Shiv (Panchanana) for the elephant like intoxication due to desire and anger! Reside continuously in the mind-gardens of people.||2||
O Sri Rama, Who is like snowfall for the garden and forest of lotus like desires and wishes (i.e., Who destroys lotus-like desires by acting as snowfall), Who is generous, Who is beyond the mind, Who is like the Mountain Mandara for the ocean like mundane existence! Absolve and liberate this ridiculous and mundane existence.||3||
O King Rama, the one Who has a blue body, Who has lotus-like eyes, Who is the friend of the weak and submissive, Who destroys the troubles of the saluting! Continuously reside in my heart with the company of Laksamana and Janaki.||4||
O Lord of Tulsidas! You entice the sages, You adorn the earth and the celestial planets, and You destroy the fear.
