(Kṛṣṇa says) O Mother! I will drink milk only on the condition that it will taste very nice; bring the milk which I milched out of the cow — feed me with only that milk.[1]
(Kṛṣṇa continues) I will not drink the milk from any other cow, even if you process it in a million ways. The mother replies that the milk is from the same cow; but Kānhā didn’t believe it and He asked Yaśodā again and again for a pledge.[2]
(Yaśodā says) Who is dearer to me than You? She tries to persuade Kānhā again and again. ‘Sūradāsa’ says that mother brought the requested milk from the particular cow for Śyāma.[3]
