O Śrīrāma, Who is the best in the Raghu lineage, Who holds the best bow and a beautiful arrow in hands, Who shatters the cloud-curtain of ignorance and attachment, Who is fire for the forest like doubts, and Who has done favor to demi-gods! Protect me.[1]

O Śrīrāma, Who is without qualities, Who manifests in qualitative forms, Who is the temple of qualities, Who is enticing, Who is the Sun for the immense darkness like doubt, and Who is Śiva for the elephant like desire and anger based intoxication! Reside continuously in the mental garden of people.[2]

O Śrīrāma, Who is snowfall for the lotus-garden like desires and wishes (i.e., Who destroys lotus-like desires by acting as snowfall), Who is generous, Who is beyond the mind, and Who is the Mount Mandara for the ocean like metempsychosis! Absolve and liberate this ridiculous and mundane existence.[3]

O King Rāma, the one Who has a blue body, Who has lotus-like eyes, Who is the friend of the weak and submissive, and Who destroys the trouble of those saluting! Continuously reside in my heart in the company of Lakṣmaṇa and Jānakī.[4]

O Rāma, Who is the lord of Tulasīdāsa! You entice the sages, You adorn the earth and the celestial planets, and You destroy the fear.
