Sing of Gaṇapati, Who is the lord of gaṇas, whom the world praises. Borne of Śiva, He is the son and delight of Pārvatī. He is the abode of siddhis, He has the mouth of an elephant, and He is the lord of obstacles (hence their remover), He is the ocean of compassion, He is handsome, and He is worthy in every way.[1—2]

Laḍḍūs are dear to Him, He is the bestower of happiness and blessings, He is the ocean of learning, and He is the creator of intellect. With folded hands, Tulasīdāsa asks you this (boon) — may Rāma and Sītā live (forever) in my mind.[3—4]
