Hanumāna Āratī

Do an Āratī of playful Hanumān, Who destroys the wicked, and Who is a part of Lord Raghunātha.[1]

Do an Āratī of playful Hanumān, and Who destroys the wicked, and Who is a part of Lord Raghunātha. His strength shakes the best mountains. He is never attended by fault and diseases. He is the son of Añjanā. He imparts immense strength and He always helps the sages.[2]

Do an Āratī of playful Hanumān, Who destroys the wicked, and Who is a part of Lord Raghunātha. He was sent by Raghunātha for the important cause (of finding Sītā). He went to Laṅkā and brought the news about the state of Sītā. Though Laṅkā is separated by an ocean, but it did not cause any impediment to the Son of the Wind.[3]

Do an Āratī of playful Hanumān, Who destroys the wicked, and Who is a part of Lord Raghunātha. He burnt Laṅkā and destroyed the demons. He adorned the service of Sītā and Rāma. During the battle of Rāma and Rāvaṇa, Lakṣmaṇa was fallen faint and weak, but He brought Sañjīvanī-herb and restored His life.[4]

Do an Āratī of playful Hanumān, Who destroys the wicked, and Who is a part of Lord Raghunātha. He went to the underground territories and shattered the prisons of Yamarāja. He uprooted the arms of Ahirāvaṇa, He destroyed the army of demons with His left hand, and He absolves the saints with His right hand.[5]

Do an Āratī of playful Hanumān, Who destroys the wicked, and Who is a part of Lord Raghunātha. He is honored by sages, men and demi-gods by these words — ‘Jaya Hanumān.’ Mother Añjanā is doing the Āratī of Hanumān with the flame of camphor in a gold-plate.[6]

Do an Āratī of playful Hanumān, Who destroys the wicked, and Who is a devotee of Lord Raghunātha. Those who sing the Āratī of Hanumān, live in Vaikuṇṭha and achieve salvation.[7]
