Śrīrāmastuti

Be victorious, O Lord, Who is immeasurable, Who is without disease, Who is faultless, Who is polymorphic, Who is unique, Who is compassionate, Who is qualityless, Who is the ocean of qualities, Who is the temple of bliss, Who is beautiful, and Who is very posh![1]

Be victorious, O Lord, Who is the consort of Indirā, Who holds the earth, Who is incomparable, Who is unborn, Who is without a beginning, Who is the abode of grace, Who is knowledge-repository, Who is immeasurable, Who gives respect, Who is pure, Whose glory is beautiful, and Who is narrated by Veda and Purāṇa![2]

O Lord, Who is learned, Who acknowledges any favor, Who destroys ignorance, Whose names are infinite but Who is without name and without qualities, Who is everything, Who is all-pervading, and Who is inside everyone’s heart! Always stay inside our heart and nourish us.[3]

Please destroy the problems of duality or desires and the traps of the world. Please reside in my heart and slay the evil desires and pride. O Lord of Raghu! Give the pure bliss of Your devotion which destroys the painful heat of three qualities 1 and the sorrows of metempsychosis.[4]

Dohā: O Śrīrāma, Who is supreme bliss, Who is the abode of mercy, Who finishes every desire of ours! Bless me with continuous divine love and Your devotion.[5]

O Raghunāyaka, Who is the Kāmadhenu and Kalpataru for the devotees 2, Who is like lotus in the pond like universe, Who easily bestows every happiness to His devotees! Accept my salutes and give me the following boon.[6]

Destroy the immense grief born out of mind. O You, Who is the friend of meek, Who cures desires, troubles and jealousy, and Who expands humility, wisdom and dispassion! Extend equal vision towards others.[6]

O You, Who is the best kind, Who is like crest-jewel of earth, Who is the incessant swan (consciousness) inside the lake-like minds of sages, and Whose lotus-feet is revered by Brahmā and Śaṅkara! Give Your devotion so that I can cross the ocean of metempsychosis.[7]

O Lord of Tulasīdāsa, Who is the shining star of the lineage of Raghu, Who protects the Veda, Who destroys time, deeds, nature and qualities, Who absolves, and Who is the adornment of the three-worlds! Liberate me, take away my bad qualities.[8]

Footnotes:

1 Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas are the three qualities.

2 Kāmadhenu literally means a cow which fulfils all the wishes. She is a member of heaven; Similarly Kalpataru.
