Mother Yaśodā, after taking (baby) Govinda into lap, gazes at His face again and again. Kṛṣṇa, Who is cloud of happiness, Himself is getting thrilled with joy, and His mind is getting pleased moment by moment. With child-like accent, Yadurāya (best among Yadu) asks the following to Mother, ‘‘Please explain to me what is causing this exceptional bliss to You.’’
(Mother replies)‘‘The happiness that happens in mind on watching Your lotus-like face, who can explain it, when tongue gets stuck and very few people get to experience it! Show me Your beautiful face again and again — this is my intense wish. There is no puṇyapuñja (treasure or virtue) like me, and there is no child like You.’’
The Lord of Tulasīdāsa (i.e., Kṛṣṇa) has taken the form of human, because He is captivated by love (devotion). His childhood sport, which is like nectar, is for the benefit of people of Vraja.
