Śriyāṣaṭkam

I am not a doer of virtuous sacrifice; I am not a possessor of the lamp of knowledge; I am not an absolver of worldly-sorrows; I am not a universal protector; I am not a damsel; I am not a blossom-bunch in a temple; even then, O Rukmiṇī, O Śriyā, O Ramā, O Sudhā! Protect me.[1]

I am not the mellifluous sound of the songs,; I am not a damsel wrapped in red-apparel; I don’t offer flowers and lamps (to You); I am not a conqueror of pride or sorrow; I am not an enticer; I cannot swallow fate-defects; even then, O Rukmiṇī, O Śriyā, O Ramā, O Sudhā! Protect me.[2]

I am not the endower of strength, liberation, devotion, purity, wisdom, deftness (skill), bliss, and wealth. I am not even pacified, and I am the victim of diseases. Even then, O Rukmiṇī, O Śriyā, O Ramā, O Sudhā! Protect me.[3]

I am not a Yoginī or Rāginī (musical notes); I don’t dwell in the divine-world; I don’t possess the power to eradicate ghosts; I am not a garland of lotuses (to adore You); I am not even free of old-age, and I am dulled by life; even then, O Rukmiṇī, O Śriyā, O Ramā, O Sudhā! Protect me.[4]

I am not an obstructor to the fate-prowess; I am not accompanied by spiritual chants; I am not a destroyer of the fate of death; I am not an ornament for the heavens; I am not even eternal and I am surprized by the fate-hardships; even then, O Rukmiṇī, O Śriyā, O Ramā, O Sudhā! Protect me.[5]

I am not a song of devotion or worship or request; I am not an endower of happiness; I am without smile and I am not fragrant. I don’t have the knowledge of fate; I am not even the Moonlight or the light emerging from the Sun; even then, O Rukmiṇī, O Śriyā, O Ramā, O Sudhā! Protect me.[6]
