When Yaśodā held Mādhava (Kṛṣṇa) in Her lap, she was not able to speak due to immense upsurge of emotions. She dedicated her heart and gazed at Vihārī (Kṛṣṇa), thereby blooming lotuses in her lake-like mind.
While gazing the big red-lotus like eyes of Kṛṣṇa, the eyes of Yaśodā got tired but her eyelids did not fall. Her heart got filled with humble and pure love for Kṛṣṇa and she started nurturing Kṛṣṇa with maternal love and childhood care.
The hands of Kṛṣṇa are soft, His eyes are full of amazement, His walking style is playful, and He laughs and cackles in glee. This immaculate appearance has enticed the mind of Yaśodā, and She is overjoyed.
[Yaśodā thinks] O Mukunda, Who is ocean of kindness! It is Your immeasurable mercy that You are playing happily in my home. It is my extraordinary fate that my arms hold Your cloud-like beautiful body.
