Janmāṣṭamīstotram

O Kṛṣṇa, Who has a beautiful new cloud like body, Who entices mind, Who is the house of river of happiness, Who is the house of bliss, Who is the abode of compassion and comfort, and Who is the dear-one of Kamalā! Accept my salutations.[1]

O Kṛṣṇa, Who is for the welfare of cows and men, Who has curly-tresses, Who is dearest to Mathurā, Whose clad is beautiful, Who is the temple of qualities and happiness, Who is the house of wealth, and Who is the dear-one of Kamalā! Accept my salutations.[2]

O Kṛṣṇa, Who has lotus-like eyes, Who is the lotus inside our mind-lake, Who has red-lips, Whose childhood form is spotless, Who provides bliss to eyes, Whose name is dear to Śruti, and Who is the dear-one of Kamalā! Accept my salutations.[3]

O Kṛṣṇa, Who destroys the fear of metempsychosis, Who adores the earth, Who destroys malice, Who entices eyes, Who is the support in ocean of metempsychosis, Who fulfils all desires, and Who is the dear-one of Kamalā! Accept my salutations.[4]

O Kṛṣṇa, Who is an amazing child, Who protects the world and folks, Who absolves the dirt of Kaliyuga, Who is holds the earth, Who protects cows, Who is world-leader, Who is Rāma, and Who is the dear-one of Kamalā! Accept my salutations.[5]

Be victorious, O Kṛṣṇa, Who is adored by the world, Who is the dear child of Gokula, Who is the protector of Mathurā, Whose feet-dust is like sandalwood, Who is serene, Who is spotless, Who is soft, and Who is dark blue in color! O Kṛṣṇa, Who is the dear-one of Kamalā! Accept my salutations.[6]

O Kṛṣṇa, Whose forehead is splendored by shine of hundred moons, Who has a lotus-garland, Who has an enticing walking-style, Who dances fast, Who has a garland studded with Kaustubha, and Who is the dear-one of Kamalā! Accept my salutations.[7]

O Kṛṣṇa, Who is the dear-child of Nanda, Who is beyond the scope of tongue, Who is difficult to attain (even) by Rādhā, Who entices Lakṣmī, Who is the abode of the Veda, Who is Nārāyaṇa, and Who is the dear-one of Kamalā! Accept my salutations.[8]
